We had a great trip to Sudbury to watch Avril's show. It was me, Trevor, Lily, and her friend Lilly. It was really a pretty trip, and didn't seem too long. Trips are like that when you travel to places you've never been to. I think I drove that way on my way to Toronto once, but that was about twelve years ago, and I can't really remember much. We didn't have too much trouble finding the arena, and the kids were pumped. I was glad to see that the arena wasn't too big, and that we could see really well from where we were sitting. If this was a larger arena, you could say our seats were very good. They didn't allow cameras, but I still should have tried to sneak one in somehow, as I saw them all over the place. Instead I used my crappy phone, and got some bad pics and one video. I'm hoping to get those posted soon, but am having trouble sending them to my computer. Avril's show though...made everything worth it. She was simply amazing and her voice was angelic. Her show is all about the music and is very intimate with the crowd-she seemed genuinely thankful for all of her fans. The kids were getting tired toward the end, but I could have went all night with her (get your minds out of the gutter...). If she ever comes back to the area, either Ontario or Michigan, I definitely want to take them again. Maybe Brian will be older, and he can tag along, too. Three is just a little too young, but he does love her music, and can sing most of her songs. The trip home wasn't too bad either, as Trevor and Lilly slept most of the way, but my Lily kept me company. These kids deserved such a fun time, and I'm glad I was able to take them.
